The Pelicans squeezed by the gritty Bucks tuesday night flip flopping with OKC for that last and final playoff spot out west. Double doubles from Davis, Asik, and Evans helped the Pelicans fight off a late rally from the new look and improved Milwaukee Bucks. Ususally nights where MVP candidate Anthony Davis struggles, which he did vitally tuesday night results in Pelican losses. Not anymore. This team has simply grown, Monty Williams has figured his team and all his talent out. We’ve known for year hows talented this Pelicans team is, but now they’ve figured our how to win games and quite frankly this is a playoff team. Davis shot a horrendous 6-18, getting blocked more times than he could do himself which never happens willed his team to victory late. The Pelicans improve to 37-30, with an identical record as the Thunder however they hold the tie breaker if the two have the same record putting them in the playoffs as of right now over the injury depleted Thunder. The Pelicans have a tough upcoming schedule which will make or break their fantastic season. Meanwhile the Bucks fall to just 1 game over 500 with a record of 34-33 good for 6th in a very weak eastern conference.
