I know a lot about the Lakers because they happen to be my favorite team in the West and i follow them all the time. I usually know whats happening with them but this time not very sure. they recently just came off a hard loss to the Heat the night before, and i would think they would atleast come off ready to play and work hard and get back to winning after a hard loss like last night. But the Lakers came out soft and weak. I said on my prevoius post that the Bobcats were going to be without their centers whivh was true exept for Tyson chander played at a game time desicion. They did have Theo Ratliff but he only played 16 minutes and Tyson whho only played 15 minutes so pretty much have the game the Bobcats were without a center on the floor. Im not sure ehy Andrew and Pau didnt have good games but i thought the Lakers should have just giving the ball to Pau and Andrew because they will shoot a high precentage around the rim. Combined they went 8 for 23 from the field and combined for just 25 points when i thought going into this game they should at least get 40 combined for the two 7 footers. It was a bad shooting night for the Lakers, Ron went 1-9, Pau went 5-14, Dereck went 1-5, kobe went 9-21 which isnt to bad, and Andrew went 3-9. Meanwhile Charlotte hit more than ahalf of their shots going 51 perrcent from the field which is very good. And the Lakers just 36 percent from the field. This is my opinion, the Lakers could beat any team anynight if just one other player played well. Im saying, you know what your getting from Kobe, Pau, and Andrew every night, around 50 to 60 points. If one other player said Im going to step up like Ron, Lamar, Jordan, Shannon, or Dereck. If one of then scored 15 everynight the lakers would win almost every game. Because right now your gettiing points from your big three but no one else is contributing. Well over all the Lakers came out soft from the start and because of that they suffered a 15 point blowout win for The Charlotte Bobcats.

Kobe sits with a ankle injury but thats no problem. There had to be some players that had to step up in order to win by 17 points in Portland. There were a couple players that played well. Shannon Brown, Jordon Farmar, Lamar Odom, and Ron Artest. Ron stepped up by scoring 21 points, Shannon Brown had 19 points off the bench. Farmar had 12 points and two huge threes. Odom had 10 points 22 rebounds and 6 assissts. The Lakers played solid defense and limited the Blazers to 82 points.

Lakers are on there long road trip of the year and once they have finished it they should want to look at it and said we did a pretty good job. The Lakers have had a couple hard ones like the first road game of the stretch at Cleveland and this coming sunday they face the Celtics. But the easy games you need to make sure to get bussiness taken care of. The Lakers did just that today. Kobe had 24 while Pau had his 19 and 10 and Ron Artest carried a big chunk off KB24 tonight hitting some clutch threes to ice the game. I would like to talk a little about Ron. I was starting to get a little worried about Ron when he scored 5 points 3 games ago and then 2 points and then 5 points again because this is not the Ron Artest we know. We are used to seeing a guy who will fight and score 15 a game and collect 5 rebounds and drop 5 dimes. But tonight my worries of him shrunk because i think it was just a little drought for Ron. He bounced back to have 18 points and 4 rebounds. Now that im just about to rap it up, i would like to just say that Pau Gasol is doing a fantastic job every night being very consistent and did the same tongith getting 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assissts. Lakers win 99-91.

Kobe bryant had 29 points, Andrew Bynum had 27 points and Pau Gasol had 21 points, thats alot of points. It adds up to be 77 points which is alot of points. Them three with Lamar Odoms 12 points almost outscored the Pacers as a team. The Lakers had three double-doubles, Pau 21 and 13, Andrew Bynum 27 and 12, and Lamar Odom 12 and 14. They almost had another player with a triple double which was Kobe who had 29, 9 rebounds and 7 assissts. The Lakers played well as a team and picked up a good win on the road. Final score 118-96.

Shannon Brown can do much more than just dunk the basketball. He led the Lakers in scoring and he came off the bench. He scored 22 points and carried the lakers to their 32 win of the season, meanwhile giving the Magic their 15 loss of the season. At this point last year the magic were 32-8, this year 26-15. My thoughts on this is because- if your the Magic and you make it to the finals and almost won but lost because of a few crucial mistakes at ends of games, why do you change your roster by bringing in at least 6 maybe mre new players. Why would you do that it makes no sence, why dont you just keep your roster and do what you did last year by making it to the NBA finals. The lakers were up big in the beginning but could not keep their 12 point lead early. The Magic actually went back up by 9 at one point in the third but after a time out was called the game changed. Everything going Lakers way and they kept the lead to recieve a big win against a elite team in the NBA. Dwight Howard played well he had 24 and 12. He was recieving about 8 shots in the past games and wasnt played like the big center we know, but when you give him the ball you actually score points becuase he rarely misses. He went 10-14. Lakers win a big game at Staples 98-92.

A source has told me that there is a possible deal that might get done before the 3 P.M. February trade deadline. This deal is beneficial to both teams in my opinion. You might be saying this this is almost as bad as the Pau Gasol trade for Kwame Brown. But im going to tell you why this is a good trade for the Raptors. This is a good trade because Chris Bosh becomes a free Agent at the end of this season. There is no chance in my mind he will be staying in Toronto. A All Star Foward does not deserve to play on a terrible team. He is going to want to leave immediately once free agency comes. Now back to me saying why this is a good trade is because there losing Chris Bosh at the end of the season and the Raptors wont be recieving any players when he leaves. A free Agent is one who signs on a team not traded. So the Raptors are gaining no players after they lose Bosh. So why not bring in the young athletic center Andrew Bynum. At least your bringing in somebody instead of nobody. Thats my points at least your getting a sloid player out of this deal. If you wait and let Bosh go into free Agency your not getting anyone back in exchange for the talented power Foward Chris Bosh.

Kobe didnt really show up in this game. Well he suited up and stepped onto the court but wasnt the Kobe us Lakers fans know. Kobe went 4 makes out of 21 tries in other words TERRIBLE. He went 1 for 14 in the first half and his only shot was a break away layup. Kobe finished the game with a 12 points. Almost every nite belongs to Kobe or Pau or Lamar or Andrew, but tonight was not the case. Tonights game belonged to the high flyer Shannon Brown. This young man delivered big on offense and more improtantly on the defense side of the court, who came up big with 2 huge blocks thrown off the backbourd on the same play. He also had 19 points to lead the Lakers in scoring and also had 4 rebounds and 3 assissts. Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom combined for 35 rebounds. The Lakers got a must needed home win against the Bucks after loseing 2 straight to the Clippers and the Portland Traiblazors both were away.

Lakers made a huge statement for two huge reasons. The first reason is the Mavericks are the Wests second place basketball team and this game was not close and that said that there is a huge difference between second and first place. Second reason is that the Lakers beat a healthy Dallas Mavericks without 2 starters. Pau Gasol hurt his left hamstring and they were without Ron Artest. So if they were with both Pau Gasol and Ron Artest they prbley would of won by 60. The Lakers won by 35 points but were leading by 43 points at one point. The Lakers bench played great, and farmar led the bench with 24 points with Sasha and Shannon Brown combined for 22 more points 11 a piece for both. Kobe only had 15 points but he didnt need any more. Lakers send a message to the western Conference with huge win.

The Lakers were in cruise control in the first half, they werent really doing anything special they were just keeping it neck and neck. In every Laker game theres always Kobe time. Kobe time came in the third quarter when he scored about 12 points in a row. And the Lakers took a huge lead in the third and the fourth. The Lakers bench played very solid. Jordan Farmar and Lamar Odom each scored 14 points and Lamar also had 12 rebounds. Shannon Brown aslo had 8 points. Kobe finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assissts. Pau had 14, 14, and 6 assissts. The laker outscored the nets in the second half by 21. The Lakers gave the nets 7 loss in a row and 26 loss of the season already. They are currenty last in the east while the Lakers are currently first in the west.

Lakers just came off beating the Jazz a couple nights before in L.A. But this time it was in salt Lake City Utah. The Jazz won this game by 8 points and deserved to win this game. The only Laker that played well was Pau Gasol, he had 16 points and 20 rebounds. You might be asking yourself well Kobe Bryant Probly had a game because Kobe is Kobe. Well If you remember Kobe Bryant broke his finger thhe previous night against the Timberwolves. Every starter on both sides were in double figures in scoring. The Lakers start off the road trip with a disapointing loss from the Utah Jazz.
