I was just searching the web and came across a website called yahoo.com and they rated the top 30 players in each position in the NBA. And just about the funniest thing came up, they rated Dwayne Wade over Kobe Bryant. Now now, WHO THE HECK WOULD RATE D-WADE OVER KOBE? Thats just stupid, theres all this talk about the best player in the league Kobe or Lebron? So where does D-Wade come out of? No disrespect, i love Wade but this is stupid. Now some love for my lakers. They rated Ron Ron 15th and lamar 19th for power fowards and the Pau Gasol getting the number 1 spot for power fowards! That must feel great to know that your better than Garnett, Duncan, Dirk, Amare.

Until the Miami Heat can prove that they can play as a team, the best team is the Lakers. The Lakers already have the best starting lineup in the NBA. But where they could use help was on their bench. Their bench was blow big leads and never make a lead to rest the starters a little more and as time goes on, these guys like kobe and dereck and ron are going to need somemore rest. But Phil Jackson and Mitch Cupcheck did a fantastic job by signing good veteran players. And two good young draft picks. The Lakers went out and signed Steve Blake, Matt Barnes, and Theo Ratliff. These three players realy know how to play because they have been in the league combined 29 years in the league and the rookies a combined 0 years in the league. The Lineup will look something like this Steve Blake, Devin Ebanks, Matt Barnes, Lamar Odom, and Theo Ratliff. And Derrick Caracter being that 11th man. That is a solid lineup. No more blowing leads. This is a big jump from last season. The bench last season was Farmar, Sasha, Walton, lamar, and Mbenga. This is a huge jump. The lakers new bench is a very solid defnsive lineup. Steve Blake and Matt Barnes have been known for their defense and i havnt even mentioned Theo Ratliff who is a big shot blocker. And Devin Ebanks is a very good althltic body that can just get better because you have the best player in the world eaching you the game Kobe Bryant. Derick Caracter had a very good suprising summer league season. He ranked third in all rookies on many people’s list and they drafted him 58th overall. And he can just get better because he can learn from Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, and Theo Ratliff who have each been in the league for more than 5 years. The best gets much better and I look foward to watching the Lakers up coming season.

This offseasons freeagency has been one of the biggest free agent marckets ever in sports history, so i should probly talk about it. Lets talk about the swingmans or not Allstars first. Ray Allen was a big name in the offseason and im sure every team wants and needs a shooter, but Allen resigned with the Celtics. And also the Celtics resigned their captain Paul Pierce, and also signed a very good player Jermaine Oneal. Carlos Boozer was a big name over the offseason but got no recognizition because the talk was on the big 3. Boozer took his bags to Chicago to help bring a champoinship back to the Bulls. High flyer Rudy Gay stayed put in Memphis and has a lot to prove for his new huge contract he just recieved. But that was not the biggest contract over the Offseason because that belonged in the hands on Joe Johnson. My opinion is this is just stupid. Let him go to free agency and get on a new team. I have a lot of respect for Joe Johnson but to sign that kind of a player for more money than Lebron James is just dumb. He got a 6 year 119 million dolar deal. Dirk Nowitski resigned in Dallas which i thought was a good sign by Dallas to bring Dirk back because he is one of the best big men in the game. Okay now lets talk about Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and the King. Dwayne Wade resigned in South Beach, and then Chris BOsh brought his game to South beach and now your saying to yourself theres no way they can bring in the king. Well thats what they did. Lebron said he would be playing in South beach next season with Wade and Bosh. I didnt think this was the right chioce for Lebron as I said in one of my previous articles.

The NBA summer league has gone under way already in Orlando and in Las Vegas. I wanted to talk about some drafties that are standing out, some that havent laid their mark on the NBA yet and some of the steals in the draft. If you want to watch the summer league its on NBA TV channel. Alright lets start with the number one draft pick John Wall. This kid can flat out play ball! he definiaelty deserved to be the number one pick and he has showed us why. He is averaging 21 points and almost 10 dimes a game. Unfortunaeltey i havnt seen every draftie play yet so i will let you know as much as i can. The big man for the wizards Javal Mcgee is playin great averaging 16 and 10 boards. Some steals in the draft i think were both of the Lakers draft picks and gani lewll of the Suns. The Lakers two picks were drafted late in the second round and are playing great and it looks like them both will make the Lakers roster. Gani lewell was a steal very late in the draft and is playing very well. Demarcus Cousins is also playing well but hes not a steal because he went 5th in the draft. I watched Evan Turner a lot over the summer and hes not the same player as he was in college and dont get me wrong but theres a lot of players that dont fit in the NBA. Just look at Adam Morrison or Sheldon WIlliams although i dont think Evan Turner is that bad. Hes a great player but i just think him getting drafted number 2 was too high. But if you looked at him before summer league and just in college, then you would take him number 1 or 2. But after his 5 games in Orlando i ddnt see the same Turner from college. He averaged just 9 points in 5 games. I also expected a little more than 10 points out of the number 3 pick Derrick Favors. I will keep you guys updated on more players later.
