The NBA has become a guard league, therefore choosing just 5 is extremely difficult. Making this category the toughest to decide out of all positions. Everyone has there own opinion, but we’ll do our best to put the top 5 in order.
). Chris Paul: CP3 is as clear cut for number 1. He simply carries the Clippers and has simply turned a franchise around himself. His attitude and play combines to make him a top 5 player and also the number 1 point guard in the NBA.
). Stephen Curry: Curry has had a breakout year averaging 22 points while dishing out 9 assists a game, keeping his Warriors in the mix for the top record in the wild wild west.
). Russell Westbrook: Westbrook is a bigger guard that requires lots of help when he penetrates. He has transformed his game to land him as the number 3 point guard in the NBA.
). Damian Lilliard: In just Lilliard’s second year in the NBA, he has proven himself to make the top 5 point guards in the league landing at number 4. His stellar play has the Blazers one game out of first play in tough Western Conference.
). John Wall: The last spot is always the toughest. But our list has John Wall at number 5. His dominant play this year shows promise to a franchise that has struggled in years past.
