I think 3/4th of the country predicted a close one when the best team in the East traveled to Oracle arena to challenge the best team out west in a marquee ESPN broadcasted matchup late Wednesday night. Well it wasn’t necessarily close. It really wasn’t a blow out either. I consider it a beat down in the bay. Without a little Hawk rally with a few minutes left in this game, the Warriors would have finished winning by around 30 points. They ended up winning by 19 in a game that consisted of no competition for the Warriors. Missing a key player in Kyle Korver couldn’t have done much to change the final outcome. To lose by the amount they did, and play with the energy they played with on national TV was disgusting to watch. Coming into this game, it had the hype to go down as the game of the year. The Lakers put up a better fight a couple days ago and did i mention Klay Thompson played in that game. The Warriors clame overall bests in the NBA with a demanding win led by the two small forwards, Barnes and Iguodala, who combined for 46 points, almost half of the amount of the Hawks total roster. It wouldn’t be a Warriors recap without mentioning Steph Curry, who had a cool 16 points and 12 assists who watched his team demolish the Hawks from the bench throughout the fourth quarter. The Hawks look to re group as they meet with Mr. Triple Double in another difficult matchup against the surging Thunder in Oklahoma. Meanwhile the Warriors continue their historic season against the Pelicans friday night in a matchup consisting of MVP candidates Steph Curry and Anthony Davis. Overall, The Warriors easily run away with NBA’s best with a final score of 114-95.
