Chris Paul and J.J. Redick willed the Clippers to victory in Sacramento Wednesday night. While the Demarcus Cousins’ less Kings hung around for the majority of the game, they never could catch the red hot shooting Clippers. Paul finished with 3o points and 11 assists, a good majority of those assists coming to his running backcourt partner J.J. Redick who connected on 7 three pointers after not making a single one in his last game despite a solid 23 points. Redick finished with 27 points tonight as he hit a huge 3 down the stretch to expand the lead to a comfortable margin, giving the Clippers some breathing room late. Blake Griffin continued his dominant play since returning from elbow surgery, putting in 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Hedo Turkoglu who got the start from the injured Matt Barnes put in 19 as well. The Kings absolutely missed their king inside Demarcus Cousins who sat along Darren Collison watching his team fall too an awful 45th loss on the year. The Clippers will head home to welcome in John Wall and the Washington Wizards friday night in a marquee point guard matchup revolving around the top 2 assisters in the league, Paul and Wall. The Kings will welcome in the Charlotte Hornets as they get set for tip off friday night.
