The Heat used a terrific second half surge to squeeze by the red hot Blazers at home wednesday night. The Heat outscored the Blazers by 16 in the second half, while the veteran catalyst Wade put in 32. The Heat simply played smart basketball, only turning the ball over 8 times to their 21 assists, making 7 out of 10 threes helped vitally as they put away the Blazers late. The newly acquired Goran Dragic played his best game as a member of the Miami Heat, putting in 20 while dishing out 11 assists to only 1 turnover. The Blazers lose a tough one they simply could not afford this late in the season as Houston jumps them for the 3rd seed out west. Personally i would try to avoid the 4th seed as much as possible because you will most likely match up with a tough Clippers team in the first round, then if you make it out of the first round you face the best team in basketball the Golden State Warriors who quite frankly look as unbeatable as Kentucky looks to college basketball. The Blazers will look to avenge a tough road loss as they get set to face the Orlando Magic in Orlando friday night. Meanwhile the Miami Heat will continue their playoff push as they get set to face a very winnable matchup against the Denver Nuggets friday night.
