Game 4, The Canucks seek revenge from Monday night loss
The Kings look to get a 2 game lead over the Canucks and make the series 3-1. 13:26 in the 1st, Drew Doughty “crashes the party in front of the net and jammed it through.” 3:36 in the 2nd, Christian Ehrhoff scored on a hard shot from the top of the circle, 1-1 tie. In response, Dustin Brown scored 2 minutes later on the power play, 2-1 Kings lead. 10 minutes later Pavol Demitra scored which tied the game at 2. Late in the 2nd, Anze Kopitar tipped Wayne Simmonds pass, giving the Kings a 3-2 lead. 7:29 in the 3rd a redirection by Michael Samuelsson tied the game at 3. Sami Salo scored at 12:16, a power play goal giving the Canucks their first lead in the game, 4-3. In response, Wayne Simmonds scored on a wrist shot, which tied the game at 4. With under 3 minutes remaining, Hendrik Sedin brings the puck from coast to coast and flicks the puck over Jonathan Quick’s pad, 5-4 Canucks. With 20 seconds remaining, the Kings pull their goalie and Ryan Kesler fires the puck from far blue line into the net, sealing the win for the Canucks, 6-4. The Kings seek revenge Friday night.
