The Los Angeles Kings and their greatest rival, the Anaheim Ducks faceoff on a beautiful Tuesday night. Kings get the battle started at 5:11 when Wayne Simmons gives a saucer pass to Scott Parse giving the Kings an early 1-0 lead over the Ducks. During the power play the Justin Williams deflects Dustin Brown’s shot from the point, 2-0 Kings. 14:41 the Ducks answer back with a tip-in by Corey Perry. After the 1st the score is 2-1 Kings lead, will it alter in the 2nd period? 6:40 in the 2nd Randy Jones gets a pass at the blue line and rips the puck past Jonas Hiller, 3-1 Kings lead. With a 2 man advantage just ending, Ryan Whitney shoots a one timer past Jonathan Quick, 3-2 Kings lead by a hair. 5:29 in the 3rd Todd Marchant scores off of a rebound, a goof shot from the red line, 3-3. Kings wake up and at 17:40 in the 3rd Brad Richardson gets a tip in to wrap up another 2 points for the Kings, the final 4-3. The Kings hope for another good game against the Ottawa Senators.
