The Los Angeles Kings prepared to face the red hot St. Louis Blues and hoped to win their 3rd game in a row. Unfortunately for the Kings, Jamie Langenbrunner scored on a 2-1 break, 8:38 into the 2nd period. The Kings continued to fight back, but ended up being outworked and outshot as St. Louis outshot the Kings 33 to 22, and won the tight checking game 1-0. The Kings hope to beat the Carolina Hurricanes February 4th.
