The Los Angeles Kings hoped to end their 4 game losing streak and claim a playoff position as they faced the Chicago Blackhawks. Dustin Brown started the Kings off 10 minutes into the 1st period with a nice shot from the slot, giving the Kings a nice 1-0 lead. Dustin Brown continued to perform, and with 2 minutes remaining in the 1st period, he scored on a rebound, giving the Kings a 2-0 lead heading into the 2nd period. Brown continued his domination, and gets a breakaway 5 minutes into the 2nd period, and scored, giving the Kings a 3-0 lead, and giving Brown a hat trick! Just 2 minutes later, Willie Mitchell scored, giving the Kings a 4-0 lead, which ended in a 4-0 win.
