Game 52, Los Angeles Kings Vs. Boston Bruins
Jan. 30th, the Kings achieve a five game winning streak
The Kings look to prolong their 4 game winning streak as they battle the Boston Bruins. Dustin Brown gets the Kings on the board at 12:06 in the 1st with a nice point shot, Kings lead 1-0. The Bruins look to tie the game up, and at 15:16 in the 2nd, Marco Sterm gets a powerplay goal which tied the score at 1. 1:20 in the 3rd, Mark Recchi gets a one timer, 2-1 Bruins lead. The Kings tie the game up at 4:29 in the 3rd with a deflection by Anze Kopitar. The Kings and Bruins fight hard in overtime but both come up empty handed which leads to a shootout. The shootout goes 6 rounds before Jarret Stoll shoots the puck high glove, giving the Kings a 3-2 win, as well as a five game winning streak.
