The Kings go to the locker room disappointed and hope to have a better chance next period. Wayne Simmonds gets the Kings on the board at :44 into the 2^nd, a nice rebound goal. The Kings luck and attempt for a comeback is put down at 13:48 in 2^nd as Patrick Marleau once again, scores on Quick, 4-1 Sharks. Clowe, once again puts Quick down with a short side at 11:59 in the 3^rd, another power play goal. The final stands at 5-1 as the Sharks put down the Kings, until next time.
