Jan. 14th, 2010 Anaheim Ducks Vs. Los Angeles Kings
After the Kings lose three in a row, they look to rally back and attempt to secure a playoff position as they face off against the Anaheim Ducks. 17:56 in the 1st period, Michal Handzus deflects a shot from the point, 1-0 Kings lead. After the 1st intermission, Scott Parse gets a shot from the point and gives the Kings a 2-0 lead at 6:02. The Kings pull ahead by three when Dustin Brown sneaks one past Ducks goalie, Hiller. With seconds remaining in the 2nd period Wayne Simmonds pushes the puck in, which was reviewed and ruled a goal, 4-0 Kings. The Ducks wake up during the 2nd intermission but can’t handle the Kings speed and strength, leaving the Ducks flapping helplessly. The Kings hope for another good game against the Boston Bruins.
