Kings fall to the Coyotes

The Kings attempt to get back on their feet as they return from a week long Christmas break. 5:49 in the first Dustin Brown gets a rebound from a point shot. Adrian Aucoin scores at 8:49 with a point blank slap shot, 1-1 tie game. The Coyotes keep the pressure on and at 13:56 a fluke sneaks past Jonathan Quick goal awarded to Martin Hanzal, 2-1 Coyotes lead. The Kings step up their game in the 2^nd and hold off the Coyotes until the 3^rd. The Kings come out hard in the 3^rd and produce a power play goal from Michal Handzus, 2-2 tie game. In response Keith Yandle scored on a rebound, 3-2 Coyotes lead. The Kings attempt to tie the game up, but come up short and lose 3-2. The Kings hope to come out good against the Minnesota Wild.
