No better time for the reigning MVP and best pitcher in the game to get in stride. Kershaw had struggled early on, however 7 innings of shut out ball could change that quickly. Kershaw tossed 7 scoreless innings, giving up just 4 hits, striking out 10 Braves. Having 8 runs under your belt also doesn’t hurt specifically for someone like Kershaw who needs just one good start to get his season on the right foot. The Dodgers scored 6 in the 4th inning and added 2 more in the 5th to back a very solid outing by their superstar pitcher, Clayton Kershaw. The Dodgers look to sweep the Braves tomorrow night as they throw their other ace Zach Greinke the mound looking to pick up his 6th win and maintain his low era.
