I don’t think this is a right or wrong type question with pros and cons reflecting the final decision. The decision is easy, and the answer is yes. This Clipper team truly struggles when Jordan is on the bench or sidelined however his lack of injuries and willingness to take a day off here and their has made him the player he is. Wheter or not Jordan blocks a shot, he sure alters and affects every shot, being the large athletic presence he is. The Clippers can throw the money, offer the city of Los Angeles and the friends he’s has made such as best friend Blake Griffin to Jordan hoping to lure him to remain a Clipper and an important piece to their title hopes in the near future. If the Clippers are unable to retain Jordan, it will be all downhill for Los Angeles. You might be saying to yourself right about now, well the Clippers have arguably have 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA on their team already so why would they go downhill with Griffin and Paul running the show in Los Angeles? Simple, as we’ve seen from past years, stars don’t bring championships without the role players. Just look at the Spurs. Jordan made his first all NBA team finishing on the third team while others argued to have him on the first team if not the second, but if you told Jordan he would end up on the all NBA third team come season start he would accept in a heartbeat. It’ll be interesting to see if the Clips can retain their all star Center or will he vanish back to his hometown say maybe the Dallas Mavericks?? It’ll be extremely intriguing to not say yes to returning home however look for Jordan to remain with the Clippers.
