When the starters werent getting the job done and the game was coming to and end, the Lakers turned to their bench. The Lakers tied, with about 4 minutes left and then they turned to the bench who came up big. Shannon hit a three, then Blake hit a three, then Barnes hit a 3, and then to top it off Steve Blake hit another 3 to put the lakers up 12 with about 2 minutes left. The Lakers have argueably the best bench in the NBA and they havnt even put Lamar Odom into the mix. When Andrew Bynum gets back around Mid Decemeber, Lamar will move to the bench and then it will be by far the best bench in the NBA. They already have the best bench without Lamar so this will be fun to watch. The Lakers bench outscored the Bulls bench by 29 points. Last year the Lakers bench would get outscored by an average of about 30 points a game. That has changed because of the 3 B’s (Blake, Barnes, Brown). Thats my nickname for them. They get the job done everynight. Derick Rose put on a clinic at Staples Tuesday night scoring at will. Their wasn’t anyone in the gym who could have stoped him. He used his speed to blow by the defender. He had 30 points and 8 assists. Pau didn’t have his best game of the year due to the player he was going up against, Joakim Noah. Noah ot the best of Pau but Pau still had 12 points and 11 boards. Noah had 19 points and 13 rebounds. Lamar had 21 points which was tied with Shannon Brown. Notice that i havn’t even mentioned Kobe Bryant’s name. I just realized that. Its pretty special to not mention your best players name in a summary of the game and still have the win for that team. The Lakers have really been saving Kobe’s minutes and why not? The more he rests, the more he will be ready for the Playoffs. And if we get a fresh Andrew Bynum and Kobe Bryant, you mind as well give the Trophy to the back-to-back champs again. Especaiily the Way the Heat are playing who i dont think have a legitimant chance anymore. Lakers 98, bulls 91.

I think Chris Paul to the Clippers is a better chocie in my opinion Blake Griffin last years MVP could use a solid 15 and 10 point guard. As for Dwight going to the Lakers, I don’t think Kobe and another superstar is a good idea. Think of what happened with Shaq and Kobe. Of course they one three rings but that was when Kobe was in his prime and Shaq too. I think that Kobe is trying to get his right now and with the way Dwight Howard’s game is he needs touches. In Orlando last year there were too many times where Dwight didn’t touch the ball as he wanted to and he expressed it vocally through the media. If this happens in Orlando why go somewhere where there is already a superstar present? But too each it’s own. The NBA will be interesting with all of the big moves made this off-season. MIAMI BABBBBBYYYYYY!!!!!!
