The raptors won a costly game wednesday night seeing their all star point guard Kyle Lowry go down with an injury. Lowry played just 25 minutes before leaving with 5 minutes left in the third after falling in an awkward position landing on his back. The Raptors were able to fend off the Wolves without Lowry on the court for a quarter and a half, but if they’re looking to beat better quality teams, they will need to get a healthy Lowry back. The Timberwolves couldn’t capitalize on an injury to the Raptors star point guard nor DeMar DeRozan shooting 4-14 from the field in a failed attempt to pick up win number 15. Rookie Andrew Wiggans returned to his home town while he shot a positive 6-9 scoring right on his average of 15 points. Kevin Martin had himself quite some game, scoring 37 points and pulling down 8 rebounds watching his Wolves drop their 6th consecutive game. They’ll look to turn the ship around tomorrow night as they face a very winnable team in the New York Knicks. Meanwhile the Raptors hoping to get Lowry back sooner than later as they travel to Chicago to face an injury depleted Bulls team in attempt ti win their 3rd straight game.
