Boy will tonight’s game be something. Easts best Atlanta Hawks collide with West best Warriors in a potential finals showdown tonight on ESPN. Both teams will be missing key players, as the Warriors will be without leading scorer Klay Thompson who unfortunately sprained his ankle against the Lakers in their 108-105 victory Monday night. Meanwhile the Atlanta Hawks will be without their sharp shooter Kyle Korver as he broke his nose last Sunday against again the Lakers. The Lakers need to stop hurting people so we can see a potential healthy finals preview. The Warriors come into tonights matchup with one fewer loss on the year than the balanced Hawks however Atlanta can take over leagues best record with a win tonight. I wouldn’t say by any means this is a lock for a finals preview just because both of these teams have set themselves apart from the rest of the pack being the only teams as of now to clinch a playoff position and are in terrific shape to remain at the top of their respected conferences, however it is possibility. I see the Warriors finding themselves in the finals this year, however not so much for the Hawks. The Hawks will have a tough time getting past Cleveland, while i don’t see any problems for the Warriors. The warriors hardest playoff opponent might as well be there first round matchup against the Thunder, obviously if both teams remain in spots 1 and 8. Tonight should be a blast, look for the Warriors to amend their loss earlier on the season to the Hawks even without their leading scorer Klay Thompson.
