Round two of battle of L.A continued friday night. The game came right down to the wire. Wait just kidding. The Clippers won by 36 points and led by 41 after 3 quarters. The clippers absolutly embarrased the Lakers to win round two of battle of L.A, with the home team winning each of the first two. The clippers led early and never looked back. They led by 20 after the first quarter, and then took an 18 point lead going into intermission. If the game wasnt already out of hand, it turned ugly. The Clippers led 101-60 after three quarters. I had mentioned in my preview of this game that this would be not only a battle of the city but a battle between bigs. Specifically the young stud on the clippers; blake griffin and the lakers old spaniard Pau Gasol. Well theres no easy way to say this but Griffin absolutly demolished Pau Gasol and i mean the Lakers as a whole. Griffin had 33 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assissts, 2 blocks, and 4 steals in 3 quarters of play. Impressive to say the least. Griffin got help from his buddies. Collison contributed with 20 points and 7 assissts while his backcourt partner J.J Reddick who returned just in time to enjoy a beating of their rivals contributed with 19 points in limited time of course. The big man in the middle controlled the paint for the Clippers. Jordan finished with yet another double double, but neared a triple double with 7 blocks. Nothing really went well for the other team as in the Lakers, so i’d rather just not waste my time and talk about it. Final score 123-87, in the most lobsided win between the two L.A teams in history.
