At this time of season, the Lakers have been struggling against so called “elite” teams. Which is very true. hey have really struggled against the NBA elite this year. They have lost to the Heat, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, Dallas, and the Nuggets. I wouldn’t start worrying yet, but they face the spurs this week at staples and if the Lakers lose this game, you could see a similar thing that the Orlando Magic did. They got rid of some good players to get some better players, and now its working. I wouldn’t call it rebuilding, but if they lose to the spurs, you can definitely see some changes coming into L.A. I think a good trade could be with Indiana. The Lakers propose Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum and a future draft pick, For danny Granger, Roy Hibbert and TJ ford. This would work for both teams, Indiana would receive talent young talent with Andrew Bynum and a veteran all star in Lamar Odom. The Lakers would receive much more help scoring the ball to go along with Kobe Bryant. Danny Granger can score the ball at will. They would receive another big body in Roy Hibbert to go along with the Pau in the frontcourt. They would also receive a fast quick guard in Tj ford that can compete with the Elite guards in the West. Derrick fisher just can guard these guys late in his career. Granger would be the main piece of the trade and lakers are in desperate need of a second 20+ scorer to go along with Bryant. Kobe has been doing it all lately and this wont keep up as the season goes along. Tell me what you guys think of this trade.
