When you hold a teams best player to 0 points, you usually will come out on top. The Clippers did just that. They held Brandon Jennings scoreless in just over 28 minutes. The Clippers played very strong from start to finish and that might of had something to do with inserting Matt Barnes into the starting Lineup. Putting Barnes in the starting Lineup add’s much needed toughness to this team. The fans had to enjoy this one, dunk after dunk from the Clippers left them fans in awe. De Andre Jordan finished with 16 points who threw down 7 powerful jaw dropping dunks. Jordan also grabbed 21 rebounds. The Clippers had their big three scorers on full effect today. Griffin, Crawford, and Redick combined to score 71 points. Thats 71 more points than Brandon Jennings scored. Just thought id rub it in the Piston fans. I mean you give this guy a max contract and expect him to run your team and lead you back to playoffs, but all he does is put up a donut in the scoring department and didn’t really impact many other areas he could have. The Pistons have the talent. They have a solid front court with Smith, Drummond, and Monroe but other than that I am just as clueless as the typical Piston fan. Jennings is not a player you can build around. The Pistons will have many questions to answer if they hope to find themselves back in the steam of things come April when the playoffs roll around.
