The Clippers cruised by the struggling New York Knicks behind Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford. Blake contributed in every stat category as usual, and Jamal put his touch on the offensive end like usual. Crawford finished with a remarkable 29 points on just 14 shot attempts. Crawford who was battling an illness throughout this game, maintained his sweet touch and lit the Knicks up. Griffin on the other hand finished with 32 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block, despite being in foul trouble finishing 1 shy of elimination. The Clippers got their normal double double from De Andre Jordan, who pitched in 11 points and 16 rebounds while stealing 3 and blocking 3. The Knicks again struggled to move the basketball. When it hits Melo’s hands, it sticks and usually you see Knick players standing and watching. Carmelo finished with 26 points and 20 rebounds but wasn’t nearly enough to propel his team to a victory over the high flying Clippers. The Clippers move to 28-13 as they see themselves battling it out with the Pacers tomorrow night in Indiana. Meanwhile the Knicks drop another game at the Garden, dropping to 15-25.
