The Clippers ran right past the Rudy Gay less Grizzlies to start the road trip with a big win. Both teams were missing their stars. Clips were missing CP3, while Memphis played without Gay. The Clippers started to build a lead in the second quarter and never looked back. By halftime is was near a 20 point lead and they finished winning big. Even though Rudy Gay wasn’t playing, it was a great win for the Clippers because like the Grizzlies being without their star, the clips were without theirs. The Clippers beat the Grizzlies with their defense, their offense was good but their defense was great. They help the Grizzlies shooting a terrible 30 percent form the field, while themselves shot 46 percent. Eric Bledsoe got the start for the injured MVP candidate Chris Paul. Bledsoe played great. Simply great. He had 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists with 0 turnovers in just 28 minutes of action. They didn’t really need him in the fourth quarter, so those are great stats playing only 3 quarters. Im most impresses by the 0 turnovers. You can tell he’s been learning from the best, his bud Chris Paul. Bledsoe also played great defense on Mike Conley. He held Conley to 2-11 shooting, scoring only 5 points and having just 1 assist. Bledsoe took Conley out of his rhythm and never letting the point guard get his team going. All that coming in more time on the court than the Clippers young star point guard; Bledsoe. Barnes and Crawford also pitched in off the bench like they usually do each scoring 16. The Clippers came up big against a good Memphis team on the road to win by 26 without superstar Chris Paul.
