Masahiro Tanaka has been the most coveted Japanese pitcher since Texas snagged Yu Darvish two years ago. Tanaka has even said to be better than Darvish by many scouts. Tanaka has been linked to 3 final teams. Angels, Yankees, and obviously the Dodgers. I mean who hasn’t the dodgers coveted at some point in time. Tanaka will be looking for a large deal from a winning ball club. All teams will offer him big money, but will all teams offer him wins? The Dodgers will. We are yet to see how the New York Yankees mesh together will all their new acquisitions. Meanwhile the Angels probably have the biggest names but have yet to prove they are a serious contender. So where will the best starting pitcher this off season land? Personally i think the Dodgers will take him off the books. I think they will offer him the most money and he will like playing with that star studded roster. Also, he has yet to face a MLB team, with as much talent as they do, he might want to face a national league team where there is no DH and he will face the pitcher in the ninth hole instead of a solidified hitter in the american league. Look for the Dodgers to take him off the books soon.
