5) J.J. Redick; J.J cracks the top 5 this time around. His production has simply been suburb. Keeping the Clippers afloat while their superstar Blake Griffin was sidelined for a month due to elbow surgery.
4) Monta Ellis; Ellis has taken his game to another level this year, while he remains the Mavericks top scoring option, he has expanded his overall game in hopes to lead Dallas to another championship.
3) DeMar DeRozan; DeRozan has had his ups and down this season, having a nabbing hamstring injury never helps however he has helped his Raptors stay in contention in the eastern conference putting up just under 20 points a game.
2) Dwyane Wade; The veteran has kept his Heat in the playoff picture after LeBron taking his talents to Cleveland last year and Chris Bosh have a season ending lung injury. Wade continues to improve at age 33 putting up 21 points, a shade under 4 rebounds and 5 assists a game.
1) James Harden; The bearded man his Rockets right where they want to be while Dwight Howard continues to miss games. Harden is putting up MVP caliber numbers averaging 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists on a winning team. Do those numbers call for an MVP award?? We’ll have to wait and see.
