The answer is no. Kobe Bryant can not and won’t be any time soon. I can’t say enough about Kobe Bryant. He goes about his business professionally unlike many NBA players. This guy its all the excuses and injuries behind him and goes about what he does best. This is what separates good from great. You say some NBA players are great, well no, i would say right now there is four great players that are carrying their teams to wins. Rose, Paul, Bryant, and Durant. These guys go about their business. Rose has a bad foot, but that doesn’t stop him from throwing up huge numbers and more importantly leading the NBA’s best record Chicago Bulls to a big win on the road in Boston. Same with Paul. 27 and 11 sounds pretty nice but more importantly leading your new look team to a big time win and changing a franchise and living up to the hype is remarkable. I can’t even imagine how tough it is because Chris realizes its up to him. As well as Durant. But number 24 on the Los Angeles Lakers has brought his game to a new level. If you came into the season saying Kobe will be better than he’s ever been you wouldn’t believe that. Well i think its true. Whens the last time you saw a player scorer 40+ three straight nights? Well Kobe can do that, even with tough defenders on him. He scored 48 on raja bell who is said to be a defense stopper which came into no effect when Kobe made him flat out look bad. He had 40 again against Grant Hill. These guys might be old but their pesky defenders who will get into your business and cause problems. And lastly tonight he scores 40 on the Cavs. Im sure they all tried guarded him at times. And don’t get me wrong their forcing him to extremely tough shots. He is just not human and can shoot fade away jumpers from behind the three point line and make them look offly easy. Kobe looks sharp to start. The Clippers will get a shot at him tomorrow night and he should have a shooting night over the smaller but tough Chauncey Billups.
