Game 5, The Kings get dominated all 60 minutes of play
The Kings who look to win the series don’t show their 100% effort. 8:50 in the 1st Steve Bernier scores on a goofy bounce with the puck, giving the Canucks a much needed lead. 6 minutes later Michal Handzus scored from behind the net, hitting Roberto Luongo’s skate and in. Alexander Edler scored short side on Jonathan Quick, 2-1 Canucks. 8:26 in the 2nd, Daniel Sedin scored on a wrap around, 3-1 Canucks. 4 minutes later, Michael Samuelsson scored short sided on Quick, 4-1 Canucks. Early in the 3rd, Pavol Demitra on a slap shot from high in the zone, 5-1 Canucks. Moments later Fredrik Modin scored on a scramble, 5-2 Canucks. In response, a minute later, Michael Samuelsson scored on a wrist shot off the post and in, 6-2 Canucks dominate. With 10 minutes remaining Steve Bernier puts the Kings away with his 2nd of the night, the Kings look to revenge the Canucks Sunday night at the staples center.
