With 2:19 remaining in the 1st period, Justin Williams scored on a bad-angled shot, which gave the Kings a 1 goal lead yet again. At the 15:37 mark of the 2nd period, Zetterberg scored yet again on a 3 on 2, which tied the game at 2. The Kings continued to battle, and 15:58 into the 3rd period, Dwight King scored on a tip-in, which gave the Kings a promising lead. However, just 2 minutes later, Valtteri Filppula scored with a tip-in, which tied the game at 3. With a 1:13 remaining in the game, Darren Helm scored the game winning goal, a tip-in which gives them a 4-3 lead. A tough and emotional lost for the Kings.
