The Los Angeles Kings looked to dominate the Florida Panthers on February 9th in South Florida. Unfortunately for the Kings, just 5 minutes into the 1st period, Sean Bergenheim scored with a slap shot from the slot, 1-0 Panthers. The Panthers continued to battle, and with less than 3 minutes remaining in the 2nd, Mike Santorelli scored on a rocket one timer from the front of the net, 2-0 Panthers. The Kings rallied back and with 2:28 left in the 3rd period, Drew Doughty scored on a one timer on the rush, 2-1 Panthers. Matt Bradley scored with less than a minute to play on an empty net, giving the Panthers a 3-1 win.
