<p>Game 6, The Canucks put an end to the Kings ‘09-‘10 season</p>
<p>The Kings don’t want to end their season on a bad note like last game, so they put up a fight. 10 minutes into the 1<sup>st</sup>, Alexander Frolov wraps the puck around and fires it off of Roberto Luongo’s stick and over his shoulder, 1-0 Kings. 8:38 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Steve Bernier scored on a power play goal tip-in, which tied the score at 1. 7 minutes later Drew Doughty is fed by Anze Kopitar and gives the Kings a 2-1 lead with a slap shot goal. Early into the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Kevin Bieksa scored on a one timer, tied the game at 2. With a little over 2 minutes remaining in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Daniel Sedin scored a rebound, off of the post and in. With a little over a minute remaining  Alexandre Burrows scored on an empty net, closing the serried 4-2 and the game 4-2 as well. The Kings look to train hard over the summer and come out next season and show the Canucks</p>

<p>Game 5, The Kings get dominated all 60 minutes of play</p>
<p>The Kings who look to win the series don’t show their 100% effort. 8:50 in the 1<sup>st</sup> Steve Bernier scores on a goofy bounce with the puck, giving the Canucks a much needed lead. 6 minutes later Michal Handzus scored from behind the net, hitting Roberto Luongo’s skate and in. Alexander Edler scored short side on Jonathan Quick, 2-1 Canucks. 8:26 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Daniel Sedin scored on a wrap around, 3-1 Canucks. 4 minutes later, Michael Samuelsson scored short sided on Quick, 4-1 Canucks. Early in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Pavol Demitra on a slap shot from high in the zone, 5-1 Canucks. Moments later Fredrik Modin scored on a scramble, 5-2 Canucks. In response, a minute later, Michael Samuelsson scored on a wrist shot off the post and in, 6-2 Canucks dominate. With 10 minutes remaining Steve Bernier puts the Kings away with his 2<sup>nd</sup> of the night, the Kings look to revenge the Canucks Sunday night  at the staples center.</p>

<p>Game 4, The Canucks seek revenge from Monday night loss</p>
<p>The Kings look to get a 2 game lead over the Canucks and make the series 3-1. 13:26 in the 1<sup>st</sup>, Drew Doughty “crashes the party in front of the net and jammed it through.” 3:36 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Christian Ehrhoff scored on a hard shot from the top of the circle, 1-1 tie. In response, Dustin Brown scored 2 minutes later on the power play, 2-1 Kings lead. 10 minutes later Pavol Demitra scored which tied the game at 2. Late in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Anze Kopitar tipped Wayne Simmonds pass, giving the Kings a 3-2 lead. 7:29 in the 3<sup>rd</sup> a redirection by Michael Samuelsson tied the game at 3. Sami Salo scored at 12:16, a power play goal giving the Canucks their first lead in the game, 4-3. In response, Wayne Simmonds scored on a wrist shot, which tied the game at 4. With under 3 minutes remaining, Hendrik Sedin brings the puck from coast to coast and flicks the puck over Jonathan Quick’s pad, 5-4 Canucks. With 20 seconds remaining, the Kings pull their goalie and Ryan Kesler fires the puck from far blue line into the net, sealing the win for the Canucks, 6-4. The Kings seek revenge Friday night.</p>

<p>Game 3, The Kings will not lose to Canadians</p>
<p>The Kings are tied in the series, 1-1, they look to get a 2-1 lead and get a solid foundation and dominate the Canucks. 2 minutes into the 1<sup>st</sup>, Mason Raymond sits in front of the net and scores on a one timer, 1-0 Canucks. 11 minutes into the 1<sup>st</sup>, Drew Doughty scores on a slap shot from the blue line, a power play goal tying the game at 1. Early in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Michal Handzus picks up a rebound and fires it above Roberto Luongo, giving the Kings a 2-1 lead. 8 minutes later, Handzus picks up another rebound and quickly taps it in, 3-1 Kings lead with 2 power play goals. A minute later Brad Richardson forechecks hard and his speed dominates Luongo as he turned and fired a five hole shot, 4-1 Kings lead. A minute thirty later, Michael Samuelsson rips a shot above Jonathan Quick’s glove hand, 4-2 Kings. Five minutes into the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Daniel Sedin scores on a wrist shot from the point, 4-3 Kings fans are getting nervous. 9:21 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Ryan Smyth scored on a rocket off the post and in, 5-3 Kings victory. The Kings look to get a 3-1 lead in the series Wednesday night in LA.</p>

<p>Game 2, The Kings hope to show the Canucks who they really are</p>
<p>The Kings still upset about their game 1 defeat against the Canucks look to show them some LA material. 7:33 in the 1<sup>st</sup> period Steve Bernier scores on a rebound, a power play goal. About 2 minutes later Mikael Samuelsson scores on a 2 on 2 shot from the rebound, beating Jonathan Quick below his pad. Halfway through the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Fredrik Modin scores on a scramble in front of the net, 1-1 the game is tied. 35 seconds later the tide has shifted as Wayne Simmonds scored on a 3 on 1. 7:28 in OT Anze Kopitar scored on Roberto Luongo, the wrist shot found a hole and has given the Kings their first playoff win this series. The Kings look to get the series under control as they return home for game 3.</p>

<p>Game 1, the Kings start the playoffs on the wrong foot</p>
<p>The Kings look to come out hard and get a advantage on the Canucks in a 7 game series. Jarret Stoll scored a early 2<sup>nd</sup> period power play goal, a wrist shot beating Roberto Luongo. The Canucks don’t want to give the Kings any advantage. At 3:09 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Mikael Samuelsson tied the score 1-1 with a wrist shot rebound. Five minutes later, Daniel Sedin scored on a 2 on 1, 2-1 Canucks, 4:30 later, Fredrik Modin scores on a bang-bang play, 2-2 tie. The Kings go into overtime and at 8:52 are defeated by Samuelsson with a one timer slapshot, 3-2 Kings lose. The Kings look to tie the series at 1 on Saturday night.</p>

<p>April 11<sup>th</sup>, The Kings prolong their 4 game overtime streak, to 5 OT’s in a row</p>
<p>The Kings look to defeat the Avalanche and hope that the Detroit Red Wings to lose to the Chicago Blackhawks in order to be boosted up to 5<sup>th</sup> place and play the Phoenix Coyotes. 9:02 in the 1<sup>st</sup>, Ryan Stoa scored on Kings backup goaltender Erik Ersberg by hacking Ersberg’s pads, reviewing the goal and giving the Avalanche a 1 goal lead. 15:28 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Jarret Stoll tipped in a shot by Matt Greene, giving the Kings another overtime, the 5<sup>th</sup> in the last 5 games. A 1:31 into the overtime, Dustin Brown scores on a rebound, cementing the Kings in 6<sup>th</sup> place in the Western Conference. The Kings play the Vancouver Canucks for the first round in the 2010 playoffs.</p>

<p>The Kings look to beat the Oilers and hopefully get into 5<sup>th</sup> place if the Detroit Red Wings lose. 14:37 in the 1<sup>st</sup>, Mike Comrie scores with a nice move on Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick. 3 minutes into the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Comrie scores another power play goal, giving the Oilers a 2-0 lead. Tom Gilbert scores a shorthanded short side goal against Quick, giving the Oilers a 3-0 lead. At 6:39 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Dustin Brown scores a power play goal by sitting back door and picking up a rebound 3-1 Oilers. 12:03 Jarret Stoll rips a shot over Devan Dubnyk’s shoulder, 3-2 Oilers. With 2:34 remaining in the game, Michal Handzus scores a rebound goal, bringing the Kings into overtime. The Kings fail to beat the Kings in over time but they go into a shootout. The Oilers beat us in shootout 2-1, not needing their final shot. 4-3 Oilers win.</p>

<p>April 8<sup>th</sup>, The Kings fall to the Coyotes</p>
<p>The Kings look to finish 5<sup>th</sup> place in the western conference as they battle the Phoenix Coyotes. 7:48 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Drew Doughty skated the puck right through the Coyotes defense and deked the Coyotes goaltender and gave the Kings a 1-0 lead. 9:16 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Jack Johnson scores on a across net backhander, 2-0 Kings lead. 12:43 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Matthew Lombardi scores right off of a faceoff, the Kings still lead 2-1. Taylor Pyatt scores to tie the game 2-2 at 14:07 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>. The Kings go into overtime and shootout. During the shootout Anze Kopitar scored for the Kings, but then Radim Vrbata and Adrian Aucoin both score to beat the Kings 3-2 in a shootout.</p>

<p>April 3<sup>rd</sup>, The Kings come back in a shootout</p>
<p>The Kings still furious about their previous loss to the Ducks come out with some momentum. Despite their anger, they are still pummeled by the Ducks in the 1<sup>st</sup> period. 5 minutes into the 1<sup>st</sup>, Jason Blake scores on a behind the net pass, and a one timer past goaltender Jonathan Quick. Teemu Selanne gives the Ducks a 2 goal lead at 16:48 in the 1<sup>st</sup> with a rebound over Quick’s pad. 2 minutes into the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Bobby Ryan scores from a mistake by Randy Jones. 9:46 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Dustin Brown scores on a rebound by hitting the puck out of mid air and into the top corner, 3-1 Kings. The Kings put goaltender Erik Ersberg into the net to replace Quick. Selanne scores another goal for the Ducks at 12:19 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, a five whole one timer. 16:41 in the 2<sup>nd</sup>, Alexander Frolov was in front of the net and a Ducks defender hits the puck into his own net by accident, 4-2 Ducks lead. 7:56 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Justin Williams pulls the puck and fakes a wrap around and pulls it short side, bringing the Kings within 1 goal. 18:51 in the 3<sup>rd</sup>, Michal Handzus scores back hander when he receives a pass backdoor, tying the score at 4. The Kings look to beat the Coyotes and get into 5<sup>th</sup> place overall for the playoffs.</p>
