More times than not when your starting backcourt shoots 0-11 from the field combining for a grand total of 2 points you lose. The Jazz were luckily enough to be facing the Lakers. There was simply no offensive rhythm throughout the game, seeing not team take a lead of more than 10 points throughout. I nearly changed the channel, seeing a game consist of two teams shooting identically 40.3 percent. The Lakers barely cracked the 70 point margin as that usually calls for defeat. The Jazz have been playing extraordinary basketball since the all star breaking having an impressive record of 12-3. The Jazz used the bright play of Trey Burke’s in the first half while relied on their captain Gordan Hayward come second half. Those two players willed their team to their 31st win on the year. The two combined for 39 points which is almost half of the entire Lakers roster total. The Jazz send the Lakers to their second consecutive 50th loss season on their home court with a final score of 80-73 in a low scoring matinee. The Lakers look to put more points on the board against a very winnable 76ers team come sunday, while the Jazz continue their stellar play since the all star break against the best in the NBA; Golden State Warriors.
