There has been some surprises and some locks we would of thought of when the season started. I will start with the east because its simple, If your not on either the Heat, Celtics, Magic, Bulls, and Knicks then you don’t have a chance. Yes its harsh, but its the truth. Sorry Hawks and the rest of the east. I throw the Knicks in there because they are in talks with Denver about Melo and the deal will be going down in less than a week. You will have two go too scorers in Melo and Amare, and have great help around the two superstars in Gallinari, Felton and don’t forget about that rookie fields. You definitely don’t want seeds 8, 7, or 6 because you will get the Heat, Celtics, and a Bulls team that could easily get out of the east and into the finals if healthy. Now the West. Theres one thing i can tell you Spurs, Dallas, Lakers, Denver, OKC, and Jazz will all be in the playoffs. Thats seeds 1-7, but it will be a four team fight for seed 8, including the Blazers, Grizzles, Suns, and don’t count out the Rockets, and all 4 teams are separated by just 3 games. But your going to get the Spurs in the first round, so you mine as well, get a good lottery pick and try again next year. You dont want seeds 8 or 7 in the west. You will get the Lakers or Spurs. Two veteran ball clubs that turn it on during playoff time. So to not get those seeds, try to win as many games as possible, because you never know if a injury will come in that first round and keep that superstar out. If Carmelo leaves the Nuggets, they will suck but still may make the playoffs because they have a pretty good record right now.
