Theres no question they do. You saw what they did to the magic and they didn’t even have their best player. Which is right now Rajon Rondo. They pummeled the Magic in the Garden. I think the only problem with the Celtics is getting to the playoffs because if they get in, their a great half court team. Its just hard for them because you have 5 games a week and when your playing teams that have four starters under 25 years old, when you have 4 of the oldest players in the league on your starting squad. Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Garnett, and Jermaine Oneal. And injuries always hurt whether its short or long term. Right now, Allen and Rondo are their concerns both with hand injuries i believe. But lets get this straight, after this year; their done. They will be in rebuilding mode and theirs no better player to do it than Rajon Rondo. IM not saying he’s the best player to rebuild but he’s a great one. He’s not Lebron or Durant or Griffin but hell work. Garnett and Allen will be free agents and they’ll be some teams calling but don’t expect the Celtics to be neck deep in phone calls from the other 29 teams, it defiantly wont be like that. Garnett will bring leadership, toughness, and experience but not much offense. I think Ray Allen needs to be somewhere where this is penetrators who get get into the lane at will and kick it. Oh is their a guy on the Celtics called Rondo who does just that?Yes. But Celtics are done and rebuilding so look for teams like the Lakers, Knicks, Magic to call. The older teams that need shooters because they have people who can penetrate and players who draw attention like Kobe, Dwight, and Amare and Carmelo. Thats where Allen can be affectctive when people help and he’s open. But at this time of his great career, he cannot create his own shot. And on the other hand, Kevin Garnett will provide a tough leader who will work hard on both sides of the floor. He can still play defense, knock down a shot, and rebound. Hell have more teams calling than Allen. But remember still very low quantities of teams. Believe it or not, i think he would be a great fit for the Thunder. I understand their young and KG is old but they need an upgrade at the four position and i think that Harden and Ibaka could make a huge one two punch of the bench. And Garnett and Perkins reuniting?? Durant and Westbrook draw attention and kick to Garnett, they also need help with rebounding. Their leading rebounder is Durant. I think that’d be a great fit for Garnett.
